Dental Heath Beliefs And Attitudes Of A Group Of Rehabilitated Selangor Proto-Malays (Temuan Tribe) In Malaysia

Abstract
This is a study to identify the beliefs on oral health and attitudes towards dentistry of a sample of the rehabilitated Temuan tribe in Selangor, Malaysia. An open-ended, structured questionaire survey was conducted on a group of 164 Temuan adults. The relationships between their beliefs, attitudes and the environment and the implications on oral health and dentistry are discussed.
