Moderate Propositional Theory of Literary Truth oleh Jukka Mikkonen: Satu pengenalan terhadap kesusasteraan Melayu moden.

Abstract
Kajian ini bertitik tolak daripada sorotan literatur yang mendapati idea-idea utama model Moderate Propositional Theory of Literary Truth mengenai penyampaian falsafah melalui karya fiksyen telah dibahaskan dan diterapkan dalam pelbagai bidang seperti sosiobudaya, multimedia dan media, selain kesusasteraan. Lebih menarik lagi, perbahasan dan penerapan ini dilakukan dalam pelbagai bahasa termasuklah bahasa Portugis, bahasa Rusia, bahasa Finland dan bahasa Inggeris. Perkara ini menarik perhatian penulis untuk membincangkan idea-idea utama model tersebut dalam sastera Melayu dengan menggunakan bahasa Melayu. Artikel ini menggariskan dua objektif. Pertama, menghubungkaitkan model Moderate Propositional Theory of Literary Truth dengan karya-karya sastera Melayu. Kedua, merumuskan idea-idea utama dalam model Moderate Propositional Theory of Literary Truth oleh Jukka Mikkonen. Hasil analisis mendapati Moderate Propositional Theory of Literary Truth menampilkan tiga cara untuk falsafah disampaikan melalui fiksyen iaitu pernyataan sastera, pegangan sastera dan hipotesis sastera. Analisis ke atas hubung kait antara pernyataan sastera dengan “Pujangga Melayu” karya Mohd. Affandi Hassan, pegangan sastera dengan “Salina” karya A. Samad Said dan hipotesis sastera dengan “Di Negeri Belalang” karya Anwar Ridhwan mendapati ketiga-tiga cara penyampaian falsafah menawarkan ciri dan aspek berbeza dalam membentuk apa yang dipanggil sebagai “fiksyen falsafah”.
