Author Guidelines

  • All manuscript needs to be submitted on-line through International Journal of Language, Literacy and Translation (IJoLLT) website. 
  • Authors are required to follow template given by IJoLLT and format the paper accordingly before submission. 
  • All manuscripts should be in Microsoft Word and single spaced. Margins should be set at Normal that is 2.54 cm for Top, Bottom, Left and Right. 
  • Paper size should be set as A4 (21 cm x 29.7 cm). 
  • Each manuscript should have 4,000 to 5,000 numbers of words, normally between 12 – 14 pages with single space. 
  • Every manuscript that is submitted should come together with an abstract of 250 to 300 words and 5 appropriate key words that is placed below abstracts.
  • Manuscript will not be considered for review in the absence of abstract and keywords.
  • In order to go through blind review process, the author’s name must not appear in the manuscript. If so there is a need for using it, replace the name with the word “author”.
  • It is author’s responsibility before submitting the manuscript, to do double check on language accuracy and also accuracy of topic whether the topic is relevant to be published in our journal.
  • The editorial board may do some significant changes to manuscript that is accepted for publication to enhance style and clarity.
  • The title should be centered with font size of 14.
  • Only horizontal lines should be used for tables and under each table, make sure to identify table number and write down the table’s title.
  • All figures and tables must be clearly numbered and provided with appropriate titles or captions. Follow APA formatting for tables and figures.
  • Every manuscript should have a conclusion.
  • Reference and quotation should follow APA style format. Refer IJoLLT Style Format.  
  • Authors are reminded that their submitted manuscript should not have been published in other journals or is under consideration for publication in other journals.
  • Manuscript will be reviewed by reviewers and will be sent out to authors to go through the reviewer’s comments (if accepted) and for correction before publication.
  •  All submitted manuscripts will be screened using Turnitin, and the similarity index must be below 30%.
  • The AI-generated content index must also be maintained below 30% to ensure originality and authorship integrity.
  • Manuscripts that do not follow these guidelines will not be considered for review.  
  • The final decision regarding manuscript acceptance rests with the Editor-in-Chief.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
