International Journal of Language, Literacy and Translation (IJoLLT) is a journal published by the School of Languages, Literacies and Translation, Universiti Sains Malaysia. IJoLLT is a peer-reviewed international journal which discusses various academic aspects of language and highlights recent findings of research on languages. It is multidisciplinary in nature, seeking to link language to other fields. IJoLLT aims to enable authors with such research interests to gain greater visibility. As an online journal, IJoLLT also offers free access to its readers with a view to greater public engagement. Published biannually in March and September, we accept articles both in English and Malay Language.
The journal aims to publish original multidisciplinary research papers that feature quality research in the field of language, literacy and translation. The scope of this international academic journal focuses on the contribution of disciplinary or interdisciplinary studies by providing a publication avenue for new and insightful multidisciplinary work in the region. The journal considers both theoretical and applied topics in language, literacy, and translation studies, translation and interpretation studies, and cultural studies based on the following sub-themes:
