WORDS FROM THE CURRENT EDITOR OF MJMS

Abstract

The Malaysian Journal of Medical Sciences (MJMS) was recently accepted into Scopus during its 15th birthday. Since taking over the helmship of MJMS early this year, we have made MJMS an online journal, publishing 4 issues per year. Early fast track publications for issues already accepted for publication, have started. Our peer reviewers are currently national and international (where Malaysian specialist and scientists overseas have agreed to be on the editorial board). Manuscripts from outside Malaysia are increasing up to a rate of 20 percent since 2007.
