Prolonged confusion following generalized seizures in a 13 years old girl
Main Article Content
Abstract
A 13 years old girl with a previous history of generalized tonic epileptic seizures was admitted for frequent fits. Despite initial control of the convulsive seizures, the patient did not regain full consciousness and had repeated involuntary repetitive movements. She was suspected to have complex partial status epilepticus and responded to more aggressive antiepileptic drug therapy.
