Thank you for choosing to submit your paper to MINDEN: Journal of History and Archaeology. Please follow this instruction to ensure that everything required is present in your paper so that it can proceed smoothly through peer review and publication. Please take the time to read and follow these instructions to ensure that your paper complies with the requirements of this journal.
• Preparing your paper
o Structure – Your paper should be compiled in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text introduction, discussion, conclusion; acknowledgements; declaration of interest statement; references.
o Title – The paper title should be concise and informative.
o Abstract – Should contain a structured abstract between 200 and 250 words. Please provide background, aims/objectives, methods and material, result/discussions, conclusions, and significance.
o Keywords – Between 3 and 5 keywords that precisely represent your paper.
o Author details – All authors of a paper should include their full name and affiliation on the cover page of the paper. One author will need to be identified as the corresponding author, with their email address. Authors affiliations are the affiliations where the research was conducted.
o Funding details – Please supply all details required by your funding and grant-awarding bodies.
o Declaration of interest statement – This is to acknowledge any financial or non-financial interest that has arisen from the direct applications of your research.
o Word limits – The journal prefers paper of between 6,000 and 12,000 words.
o Language – This journal accepts paper clearly and concisely written in standard Bahasa Malaysia or English (British or American English). Paper written in Bahasa Malaysia must also submit Title, Abstract and Keywords in English.
o Formatting and templates – Papers may be submitted in Word format. To assist you in preparing your paper, we provided formatting templates. Paper templates are available for this journal and ready for use. Please download the paper templates by clicking below:
o References – Authors should use Chicago Manual of Style for references format. Footnote should be not use in the paper. Please use this reference guide when preparing your paper.
o Authorship – All authors should contribute intellectually to the submitted paper. The number of authors should not exceed three. Adding new author is not allowed after the paper is fully accepted for publication.
o Originality – Paper submitted to the journal should be original contributions to their field and should be the work of the stated author(s). Paper should not be under consideration for any other publication at the same time, or to be already published.
• Submitting your materials
o Paper should be submitted through the online submission and refereeing system. Please register and login to submit paper and to check the status of current submissions.
o By submitting your paper to MINDEN: Journal of History and Archaeology you are agreeing to originality check during the double-blind peer-review and production processes.
• Publication charges
o Publication in MINDEN: Journal of History and Archaeology is free of charge for all the authors. There are no submission fees or publication fees for this journal.
